Concert programs were organized related to the National Music Day

In accordance with the schedule of actions approved by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic  related to September 18 - National Music Day, concerts are held in the capital and regional centers of the autonomous republic, including children’s music, art and artistic craftsmanship schools. Related to the National Music Day, it is intended to demonstrate the feature film “The chords of long life” devoted to the life and work of the great composer Uzeyir Hajibeyli and documentary films, and read lectures on our music history.

In this context, a concert of the Chamber Orchestra of Nakhchivan State Philharmony was held on September 11.

The concert started with the performance of “Prelude” from “Leyli and Majnun” opera by our great composer Uzeyir Hajibeyli. Honored artists of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Zulfugar Mahmudov and Hunar Aliyev together with Gariba Hasanova performed duets from “Leyli and Majnun” opera , the pearl of our national music as the first opera in the East.

The orchestra, after performing an Arabic song, the young soloist Ilkin Abdullayev performed the romances of our great composer Uzeyir Hajibeyli, “Sansiz” (without you)  and “Sevgili janan” (dear beloved).  

The dance and concert performance from “Koroglu” opera by the great composer, which is considered as the pinnacle of our opera art, created delight mood on the audience.

Arias and songs from “Koroglu” opera, the immortal sample of our art, performed by Ilkin Abdullayev, Gariba Hasanova and Honored artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Gulyanag Farzaliyeva were met with applauds.

Honored artists of the Republic of Azerbaijan Gulyanag Farzaliyeva and Mubariz Asgarov presented the final part of “Koroglu” opera to the participants of the concert.

The samples from “Koroglu” attracted attention with their emotionality, imagination and intonation.

The concert ended with the prelude of “Shah Ismayil” opera by the great composer Muslim Magomayev.

Last Saturday, a concert of Nakhchivan State Philharmony Mugam Studio was organized for the first time in “Big garden” recreation park in Nakhchivan city. Yesterday “Shalala” Instrumental ensemble of the Culture and Tourism Department of Nakhchivan City made a concert in Kangarli region.
