On September 13, a concert was held related to National Music Day in Shahbuz region.

The announcer mentioned that “Shalala” Instrumental Ensemble of Culture and Tourism Department of Nakhchivan City greets the inhabitants of the region with an interesting concert program. “Shalala” Instrumental Ensemble has been established 20 years ago. The ensemble became popular in a short time. The performances of the members of the collective were appreciated by music lovers and in military units in the autonomous republic. The artistic director of the ensemble is Ali Mammadov.

At first, the soloist of the ensemble Adalat Huseynov performed the songs of Emin Sabitoglu, Anatollu Ganiyev and others.

Honored artist of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Khatira Safarova, soloists Gamar Babayeva, Arzu Farzaliyeva, Sayavush Najafov, Sultan Safarov performed the lyric songs of our known composers such as Rauf HAjiyev, Haji Khanmammadov, Ibrahim Topchubashov, Emin Sabitoglu, Vahid Akhundov, Alakbar Tagiyev, Shamsaddin Gasimov and others. The colorful songs were met with interest. The singers also performed folk songs and tasnifs in the concert. The songs praising our homeland and ancient Nakhchivan caused applauses.

Songs from “Fatalikhan”, “Dede Gorgud”, “The First Love of Baladadash” films were sounded by the singers as well.

The concert ended with the song performed by the singers Arzu Farzaliyeva and Gamar Babayeva.

Two-hour concert was met with interest by the residents of the region. The wide range of folk songs and tasnifs, composer songs performed by the music collective reveal the ensemble’s rich repertoire.

Concert of “Shalala” Instrumental ensemble in Shahbuz district has created a good atmosphere for residents.
