The 135th season of Nakhchivan State Musical Drama Theater was opened

On September 26, Nakhchivan State Musical Drama Theatre named after Jalil Mammadguluzadeh opened its 135^th theatre season with the performance prepared on the basis of Honored artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Amir Amirli’s two part comedy “His two ribs”.

Director of the theatre, People’s artist Rza Khudiyev spoke about the difficult and glorious way of development of this art center.  He noted that today the attention and care to our theaters can be clearly seen in the example of the art centers operating in the autonomous republic. Sustainable development of theatrical art has been ensured in the autonomous republic, consistent measures have been taken to strengthen the material and technical base of art centers.

It was stressed that the 125th anniversary of Nakhchivan State Musical Drama Theater was celebrated in 2008. The work of the theater collectives of the autonomous republic has always been highly appreciated by our state, the creative staff was awarded honorary titles, Presidential grant and prizes for their efficient activity.

The play “His Two Ribs” featured a dramatic family drama featuring a transition period. Producer, People’s Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Kamran Guliyev, managed to create an interesting and dynamic scene with a small actor staff in the performance and could open the idea of the author.

Painter of the performance is Honored artist of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Abulfaz Akhundov, music designer is Honored Culture Worker of the Republic of Azerbaijan Imamgulu Akhmedov.

The performance was met with applauds.
