Folk songs are preserved with confidence

On April 2, a concert was held consisting of folk songs and tasnifs, as well as composer songs at Bananiyar village children’s music school.

Folk songs “Susan sunbul”, Gul achdi”, “Baribakh”, “Apardi seller Sarani”, “Dali Jeyran”, S.Rustamov’s “Bahar olsun” and B.Nasirov’s “Garabagh” songs performed by the students of singer class of the school were welcomed by the audience.

The skillful students of the school Taghi Hajili, Gunay Imanova, Mahammad Guliyev, Tahir Alizadeh and Adil Aliyev were escorted by the teachers Hamza Ismayilov, Sabuhi Mammadov and Gurban Asgarov.

Then, speaking at the event, Leyla Alimardanova, the head of the sector of music development and work with educational institutions of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, noted that national values mean our national folklore, art, music and other treasures created by our people for thousand years. Our natioanl music occuppies a special place in this treasury. Our national music, which begins with a tambourine  stone and conquered the submit with our mugham includes  every moment of our people's life, everyday life, thought. Children’s music schools have great responsibilty to preserve, promote, hand down the next generation this field.

Then head of Julfa Region Culture and Tourism Department Parvin Hasanov spoke about the importance of the event and wished the performers success.
